Mary Lynn
Hi my name is Mary Lynn Rodriguez.
I am a bilingual, Spanish speaking, National Board Certified, and Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I graduated with my Master Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
I have had the privilege to work with children, youth, adults, and families around many life adversities which include childhood trauma, domestic violence, and parenting. My career has also included supporting children as students in the school system. I bring over 20 years of experience to my practice.
So what is it that I do?
I work with children, young adults, and individuals to support them in the process of improving their mental health, addressing their relationship difficulties, or adjusting to challenging life changes that may include loss, trauma, and anxiety. My approach is strength-based and person-centered. That means together, we will work on goals which identify strategies that allow you to address core issues and causes and master difficulties.
I am skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Crisis Intervention in addition to receiving supervision to become a Registered Play Therapist.
