Hello! My name is Jamie Cojocari.

Jamie Cojocari is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her undergraduate degree in human services at Baker College in Clinton Township, MI, and her masters in social work (MSW) degree in 2018 from Barry University. While at Barry University, Jamie completed the requirements for the advanced trauma-informed clinical social work practice.

Jamie has 15 years of experience providing mental health and community support services to a diverse population, including collaboration with individuals in the judicial system and supporting children and families within the school system.

Jamie is passionate about connecting with her clients, often providing validation and support while encouraging autonomy. She utilizes a strengths-based approach focusing on client needs. She assists clients with developing coping skills and uses modalities such as solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy to encourage problem solving.

Jamie is skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, concerns with regulating emotions, substance abuse, and addictions.
