 Hi, I’m Alexa Sanger!

Alexa Sanger, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida Atlantic University in 2017 and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University in 2020.

Alexa brings five years of experience providing mental health and community-based support to diverse populations, including extensive work with children and families within the school system. She is dedicated to building strong therapeutic relationships and is known for creating a validating, supportive environment that empowers clients to cultivate autonomy and personal growth.

Grounded in a strengths-based perspective, Alexa tailors her approach to meet each client’s individual needs. She supports clients in developing effective coping skills and incorporates evidence-based modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to promote insight, resilience, and problem-solving.

Alexa also has specialized experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation, and she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, and trauma. She is committed to ongoing professional growth and is pursuing advanced training in trauma-focused care, as well as expanding her expertise to better support clients experiencing pre-natal, post-partum, and infertility-related concerns.
